Dr PreZiGen

Evidence & methodology

Transparent evidence. Accountable judgement.

How we find, weigh and present evidence — and how we keep established options clearly separate from investigational ones.

Methodology

From documents to a referenced opinion

  1. Organise

Reports are placed in chronological order and key findings extracted, with AI assistance and human checks.
  2. Retrieve

Guidelines, regulatory information, published studies and trial registries are searched systematically.
  3. Weigh

Each finding is placed in context and assigned to an evidence level, with sources cited.
  4. Review & sign-off

A qualified expert reviews the reasoning, states uncertainty, and signs the opinion.

The evidence ladder

Established and investigational evidence are never blended.

Every consideration in a Dr PreZiGen snapshot is labelled, so the treating team can see at a glance how strong the supporting evidence is.

  1. Established Guideline-supported or regulator-approved for this indication and context.
  2. Alternative Supported by evidence from related settings, smaller studies or expert consensus.
  3. Clinical trial Promising but investigational; best accessed within a clinical trial.
  4. Investigational / preclinical Early or laboratory evidence only — shown for context, not as an option.
  5. Further testing More information is needed before a direction can be suggested.

Reference frameworks

Recognised public frameworks we draw on

  • ESMO Scale for Clinical Actionability of molecular Targets (ESCAT) — Mateo J, et al. Annals of Oncology. 2018;29(9):1895–1902.
  • AMP/ASCO/CAP standards for interpretation and reporting of sequence variants in cancer — Li MM, et al. J Mol Diagn. 2017;19(1):4–23.
  • NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology and ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Public trial registries such as ClinicalTrials.gov and the Clinical Trials Registry – India (CTRI).

Where AI helps — and where it stops

AI-assisted tools help organise documents, extract findings and speed up literature and trial searches. They do not issue opinions. Every output is checked, interpreted and signed off by a qualified human expert.

Limits we state openly

Evidence changes quickly, and some questions have no definitive answer yet. Our opinions reflect the information provided and evidence available at the time of review, and are intended to support — not replace — the treating team's decisions.
